Josephine Paseka Leonard Paseka A memorial service will be held for Josephine and Leonard Paseka, McAllen, TX, formerly of Fargo, ND, on Saturday, April 26, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred. Josephine Everhart was born September 6, 1914, to Martha and Joseph Everhart. She was one of four children. Leonard Paseka was born February 11, 1908, in Nebraska, the son of John and Frances Paseka. He was one of 11 children. Josephine and Leonard were married June 6, 1933. They owned and operated Paseka Rubbish Removal, and later Pikes Bay Camp. He also did landscaping work. Upon retiring, the couple did a lot of traveling. They wintered in McAllen, TX, and eventually lived there year round. Leonard passed away from cancer on August 22, 1981. Jo continued to live in McAllen, and visited North Dakota in the summers. She also went to Africa and Egypt. Josephine died November 18, 2002, in McAllen, TX. She is survived by one brother, Woodrow Everhart, Star Lake, Dent, MN; and two nieces and one nephew. He is survived by one brother, Marcel, Moorhead, MN; one sister, Marcella Kyle of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred.
