Julian Fugere

Julian J. Fugere, 96, died at Bethany Homes in Fargo, N.D. on Friday, April 3rd 2009. Julian J. Fugere was born on April 5, 1912 in Horace, N.D. Julian graduated from Fargo Central High School and Dakota Business College. While working at Nash-Finch and Gran Distributing, he met his wife Frances Ondrush, they were married on Oct. 7, 1939. Julian then started his career at Great Northern Railway and Amtrac, before retiring in 1975. After his retirement Julian and Frances spent their summers on Big Cormorant lake. Frances passed away on February 18, 2005. Julian loved to fish, and spent countless hours on the lake. He is survived by his sons; Julian J. (Carol) Fugere Jr., Des Moines, Iowa, Robert Fugere, Fargo, ND, Ronald (Judy) Fugere, Fargo, ND, Jeffrey Fugere, Tampa, Florida; Grandchildren, Trent Fugere, Travis Fugere, Trevin Fugere, Bryan Fugere, Debra Naze; Great grandchildren, Summer Fugere, T J Fugere, York Naze, and Reese Naze. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Emma Fugere, brothers Joseph, Thomas and Fred, and his sister Rita, Cecilia and Rose. The Memorial service will be at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church, Fargo on May 1st 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, N.D.
