Julie Beth Nettum, 55, Fargo, ND died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley surrounded by her family. Julie Beth Satrom was born September 10, 1949 to R. Carl and Maxine Satrom. She grew up on a farm near Page, ND. She graduated from Page High School in 1967. She moved to Grand Forks, ND where she attended Joseph?s Beauty College, graduating in 1968. On November 14, 1970 she married Galen Nettum at Page Lutheran Church. Galen served in the United States Army after which they made their home in Fargo, ND in 1974. In 1976, Julie opened Three Keys Floral. For 28 years Julie was the owner and operator until she retired in the spring of 2004 due to failing health, at which time it was taken over by family. Julie enjoyed her years of working with families on all of their special occasions. She truly loved her work and the people she touched. Julie was active in her support of many community organizations, particularly the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and Hospice of the Red River Valley. She spent several years working on the Chamber of Commerce. She was a person who was always thinking of other people. Her contributions were great and small, sometimes bringing flowers to those in nursing homes who might not receive any or listening when someone needed. She is survived by her husband Galen; her daughter Tami (Randy) Lieberg, Grand Forks, ND; her son Jamie (Megan) Nettum, Moorhead, MN; two grandsons Blake and Garrett Lieberg; a granddaughter Juliana Lieberg, Grand Forks, ND; her sister Judy Anderson Harwood, ND; sister in-law Lori Anderson Pelican Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents R. Carl and Maxine Satrom and her brother Lynn Anderson. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo.
