Kimberly Gale Percel, 31 of Ovid, Colorado, died July 24, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Kim was born on January 26, 1977 in Aberdeen, SD, the daughter of David and Patricia (Severson) Percel. The family moved to Ray, ND where she was raised and attended elementary school. She then attended middle school in Williston, ND and high school in Bismarck, ND.

Through the years, Kim worked at various nursing homes in Bismarck, Fargo and Ogallala, Nebraska. She was currently employed with Miller Memorial at Chappel, Nebraska. She enjoyed working with the elderly and listening to the stories they told to her. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to her as Auntie Kimmy. Kim also enjoyed cooking and baking and was always trying new recipes that she liked to share with her friends and family.

Kim is survived by her parents, Patricia Severson of Fargo and David (Carol) Percel of Albany, OR; sisters, Trude (Dale Klein) Percel of Linton, ND, Crystal (Steve) Allard of Casselton, ND; nieces and nephews, Justin Tracey, Brianna Klein, Kaden Klein, Abigail Klein and Samantha Klein all of Linton, ND, Jo Allard and Robert Allard of Casselton; grandmother, Vivian Wiest of Fargo; aunts and uncles, Elaine (Dan) Volk of Casselton, Gary (Pam) Percel of Allen, TX; cousins, Michelle (Mitch) Ledoux of Minot, ND, Amanda Volk of Moorhead, MN, Sarah Volk of Fargo, Daniel Volk of Casselton, Stephanie Percel and Ryan Percel of Allen, TX and her special friend and companion, Gavin Pena of Ovid, CO.

Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Audrey Percel and John Severson.

Memorial Service: Saturday, August 2 at 10:30 am at Boulger Funeral Home,

Interment: Casselton Cemetery, Casselton, ND.
