Kris Hallock

Kris Shane Hallock, 42, of Fargo, ND, died in his home on June 26, 2013.

Kris was born on May 28, 1971, in Jamestown, ND to Jo (Barbion) and Leray Hallock.  He grew up and attended school in Jamestown before moving to Fargo in 1996.  Kris’ passion for aviation led him to the Fargo Jet Center where he worked from 2003-2012.  He had recently returned from San Diego where he had found solace in the ocean, sun, and sand.  Kris loved flying, was a connoisseur of music and enjoyed the outdoors.  He touched many people’s lives and was near and dear to all who knew him.  He was always willing to lend a hand, and made people smile despite his own struggles.  His untimely passing is a great loss; he will always be loved and remembered.

Kris is survived by his mother Jo Hallock of Jamestown, ND; two sisters, Reene Bingham of Salina, KS, and Dixie (Robert) Keller of Madison, WI; and six brothers, Kelly (Patricia) Pfarr of Jamestown, ND, William (Elrose) Hallock of Kingfisher, OK, Murph (Marlene) Hallock of Cottage Grove, MN, Robert (Dorthy) Hallock of Ellsworth, WI, Michael (Dorthy) Hallock of Kingfisher, OK, David (Sharon) Hallock of Elroy, MN and Timothy (Kim) Hallock of Cottage Grove, WI.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leray Hallock; two brothers, Anthony and Martin Hallock; and grandparents, Walter and Clara (Marsolek) Powell and Alva and Blanch Hallock.
