  2. Nampa IdahoMike & Karla – sure thinking of you guys this past week! I think you know Larry had a special place in our hearts and we have many fond memories of our times together! We just returned from a week of hunting up along the ID-WY border where we again made use of the special hunting apparatus Larry crafted for the 2000 elk hunt. Hard to believe that was 14 years ago! Mike will remember what I’m talking about…

Binford is among the prettiest places – so glad to see Larry chose that for his rest.

  10. Fargo ND
My deepest sympathy to the French families. It’s been years over 50 years but I remember Larry and Bonnie, their folks and the little house by the hospital. Bill was so sick. I remember the dress shop in Pelican and Lake Lizzie. Aunt Leone thought so much of you kids. It’s tough to see so many go from our early memories. Larry was always friendly and nice. Miss knowing the French’s.”,,1,,,0,0

  13. Rogers ArkansasKarla, Mike and family. I was so saddened when I heard about Larry’s passing. He was like a second father to me growing up, as all of you all were like a second family to me. So many great memories of ski vacations, weekends at the lake, swim meets etc. Our dad’s were buddies way back when they were in High School and once they had kids we all became friends starting as toddlers. I will be thinking about you during this time of sorrow, and cherishing the memories.

  14. Our sympathy and prayers for God’s peace go out to Karla, Mike, Alan, Bonnie,
Darlene and their families at this time in the loss of their loved one. As
high-school kids we shared many good times and experiences with Larry. We both
left Fargo in late ’50s but kept in touch throughout the years. A truly great
friend, a truly great person. “Just another day in paradise” was a common saying
of his. Rest in peace and paradise good buddy.

So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. There are so many good memories from the old neighborhood and I’ll never forget the look on his face or his questioning of what we were up to. Then he would crack a smile and I realized he was just joking with us. He has left a lasting impression on me for sure. Again, our sympathies to your family.
    God Bless
    Julie
