Larry Johnson, 60, of Davenport, ND, passed away at his home on March 23, 2012.

Larry Eugene Johnson, was born on December 12, 1951 to Edwin and Charlotte (Ladwig) Johnson. He grew up on his family's farm in rural Davenport. He graduated from Kindred High School in 1969. He then attended Air Traffic Controller's School in Kansas City, MO. He completed his program and was drafted into the Army in 1971. He served in Viet Nam until 1973. Larry returned to Davenport and started a family. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and working on his farm.

He is survived by his children: Tina (Jason) Myhre of Minneota, MN, Tony (Dawn) Johnson of Kindred, Nathan (Kari) Johnson of Fargo; eight grandchildren: A.J., Laney, Faith, Ian, Noah, Tyson, Brock, and Olivia; brothers: Wayne (Phyllis) Johnson of rural Horace, Dean (Janet) Johnson of rural Durbin, Lynn (Marilyn) Johnson of Fargo, Gary (Jane) Johnson of rural Kindred; sister: Rita (Drew) Aliperto of San Diego, CA; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
