Lloyd L. Perlenfein, age 85 of Fargo, died Friday, April 14, 2006 at Bethany Homes, Fargo. Lloyd L. Perlenfein was born on April 20, 1920 in Fullerton, North Dakota to John and Lydia Perlenfein. He grew up and attended school in Fullerton and then in Guelph, North Dakota. Lloyd served in the Army during World War Two and was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. Lloyd L. Perlenfein married Ethel Pearl Henningsen in Ellendale, North Dakota on December 4, 1943. They came to Fargo in 1946 and have lived here since. Lloyd worked for Sornsin Company Plumbing and then for Robert Gibb and Sons until retiring in 1984. Lloyd loved polishing cars and also spent many hours in his yard cutting grass and planting flowers. He is survived by his Wife Ethel, Fargo; Children Karen (Scott) Gilman, Fargo Paulette (Bruce) Renhowe, Bismarck, ND Lloyd Arthur (Cindy) Perlenfein, Tamarac Lake, MN Wayne Perlenfein, Washington, DC Lester (Cindy) Perlenfein, Fargo Jane Hoffman, Minot, ND Allen (Deb) Perlenfein, West Fargo, ND Sisters Helen (Clarence) Crystal, Lake Havasu, AZ Marjorie Gustafson, Lake Havasu, AZ Joyce Konik, Jamestown, ND Bonnie (James) Edwards, Chesterhill, Ohio Barbara (Jerry) Enger, West Hills, CA 14 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 11:00 am in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, from 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm in the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
