Loranine Ann Larson, the only child of Clyde & Anna (Renden) Larson, was born August 29,
1948 in Fargo, ND. She grew up on the family farm located on section 12 of Kelso Township, near Keslo , ND. She attended Kelso country school and later graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1966. Loraine was a 1970 graduate on Mayville State College. She worked for the Greater North Dakota Association in Fargo until her marriage to Peter Lovas on Dec. 22, 1973 at Our Savior?s Luther Church in Hillsboro. The couple made their home on a farm south of
Hillsboro, where they currently lived and farmed
Loraine is survived by her husband Peter and two children, a son, Jason (Sarah) Lovas, rural Hillsboro, and a daughter, Jeannine Lovas, Des Moines, Iowa.
Loraine?s dream was to marry a farmer, stay at home and raise a family. She was the caretaker of her family and many animals: her cats, dogs and sheep. She loved to entertain family and friends and Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was very active in her church and was the past president of WELCA and the current co- president of WELCA.
Visitation: Monday 5:00 until 7:00 p.m at the Wildemen Funeral Home, followed by a private family service.
There will also be visitation on Tuesday one hour before the funeral at the church.
