Lorna Barnett

Lorna R. Barnett, age 81 of Fargo, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 in her home. Lorna was born on February 22, 1925 in Finley, ND to Edward and Clara (Ryland) Olson, the youngest of 8 children. She grew up in Finley and graduated from high school. She attended Nursing School in Minneapolis. She married Jack Barnett in 1951 in Finley and worked for the VA Medical Center in Fargo until retiring in 1983. Lorna was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Fargo. She was preceded in death by her dear friend, Francis ?Dah? Hopfner and her 7 siblings. Lorna is survived by her daughter, E?lise Barnett of West Fargo; grandchildren, Rachelle (Glenn) Rolstad of West Fargo, Melissa Rognlien of West Fargo, Michael Rognlien, Jr. of Fargo; great-grandchildren, Cody, Ethan, and Alexandra Lorna Rolstad, Gabriel Rognlien and many nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25 at 11:00 am in First Lutheran Church, Fargo. Burial will be held on Friday, August 25 at 3:00 pm in the Finley Cemetery, Finley, ND.
