Lorna C. Tandeski, 68, Christine ND, died Thursday, July 22 at Elim Care and Rehab Center, Fargo.

Lorna Tandeski was born on July 21, 1942 in Maddock, ND to Conrad and Ruth (Lindbo) Johnson. At the age of 3 the family moved to their farm north of Heimdal. Lorna was baptized and confirmed at the Klara Lutheran church rural Heimdal, she remained active in the church serving as the organist during her high school years. Lorna was homecoming queen her junior year. She graduated from (BCATS) in Maddock, ND. Lorna and James Tandeski were married in Maddock, ND on April 8, 1961. They moved to Fargo where they raised their 3 children. Lorna was employed at Dakota National Bank in Fargo and retired after 21 years. After retiring Lorna became a proprietor of The Bowler in Fargo with her husband Jim.

Lorna loved being with family and friends at the lakes. She also enjoyed ice fishing, snowmobiling, dancing at the Eagles, embroidery and watching stock car races. She truly enjoyed spending the last two winters in Mesa, AZ.

She is survived by her husband Jim, children: Cindy (Ben) Eastley, Bagley MN, their children Alicia and Brent; Robert (Jolene) Tandeski, West Fargo ND, their children James and Ryan; Danny (special friends Norma and Lorenzo), Rock Valley IA; mother, Ruth Sorenson, Maddock ND; brothers, Richard (Helen) Johnson, Fargo ND, and Dennis (Judy) Johnson, Bismarck ND, and her special God child Kara Hendrickson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Conrad.
