Lorraine Lee

Lorraine Phyllis Lee, 89, Kindred, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Elim Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Lorraine was born December 19, 1920 to Edward and Marie (Vice) Olson in Kindred, ND. Lorraine grew up and attended rural school in the Kindred area before attending Kindred High School. Lorraine married Erick Lee on July 25, 1938 in Sisseton, SD and made their home in Kindred. Erick passed away in 2008 after 69 years of marriage. Lorraine had many hobbies including; baking, canning, gardening, fishing, taking care of her cat Simon, and watching her grandchildren play basketball. Lorraine was a member of Kindred Lutheran church for many years. She is survived by her children; Betty (Lyle) Johnson, Kindred ND, Lorell (Sylvia) Lee, Fargo ND, Barbara (Roger) Johnson, Kindred ND, Erick (Brenda) Lee Jr, Kindred ND, 2 sisters; Doris Olsgaard, Jamestown ND, June Lund, Bismarck ND, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Erick Lee, sisters, Donna Bernstein, Geraldine Mickelson, brother Ronald Olson, and grandchildren, Teresa Lee and Pam Johnson. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 15 from 5-7 followed by the prayer service at 7 in Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred ND. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11 AM in Kindred Lutheran Church, Kindred, ND. Burial: Perhus Cemetery, Kindred ND
