Lorraine ?Sally? Cossette McDunn, 78, died at home surrounded by her loving family on February 21, 2004. She was born in Fargo on November 3, 1925 to William and Cecelia (Amberg) Lord. She attended school at St. Anthony?s and went on to graduate from St. Mary?s on the Mount in Helena, MT. She married Daniel Cossette July 31, 1946 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. They lived in Wild Rice, ND where they owned and operated the Wild Rice Bar. They owned and operated a number of businesses in the Fargo and West Fargo area until moving to Pelican Rapids, MN. Her husband Daniel died in 1976. She worked at Swann?s Caf? until her retirement. Later on, Sally married John McDunn. After John?s death, she moved to West Fargo and enjoyed being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Sally was very loving and caring to all who knew her. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, crossword puzzles, soap operas and laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Esther, Orron, Ione, Llewellyn, Genevieve, William, Ervin; both spouses, and her grandson, Chad Witt. She is survived by her children, Susan Marie Oien, of West Fargo, Debby Lynn (Doug) Moszer, of Fargo, Karen Jo Witt, of West Fargo, Daniel Leopold Cossette, Jr., of California, Barry Neal (Sandra) Cossette, of Detroit Lakes, MN, Donna Lou (Marc) Knutson, of Hawley, MN, and Robert Ellsworth, of Klamath Falls, OR; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and sisters, Rosella Gluck, of Minnesota and Alvina Wahlstrom, of Arizona. FUNERAL: 11:00 am Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. VISITATION: 5:30-8:30 pm Monday, February 23 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. PRAYER SERVICE: 8:30 pm Monday at Boulger Funeral Home. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday, February 24, 2004.
