Lorrayne C. (Evans) Bohm, 83, Fargo, ND passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.

Lorrayne was born May 25, 1931 to Carl and Luella (Nelson) Evans in Mayville, ND. She grew up on the family farm East of Mayville and attended school at Mayville, graduating from Mayville High School.

She lived in Grand Forks for a few years working at Woolworth’s. She married Arnold D. Bohm on February 10, 1952 in Grand Forks. They moved to Moorhead in 1953 before making their home in Fargo in 1961. She was an Avon Representative and district manager for 15 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family sharing her love of gardening and garage sales. The friends she made were lifelong, her neighbors were very important to her and her sewing club was a big part of her life.

Lorrayne is survived by her two sons, Douglas (Zola), Grand Forks and Bradley (Michelle), Blanchard; grandchildren, Jessica (Shane) Hayes, Jennifer (Mark) Sertich, Jacob (Briana Theisen) Bohm, Cassondra (Adam Welter), Amanda Bohm, Matthew Bohm and Michael Bohm; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (Robert) Hahn, Ft. Collins, Helen (John) Knudsvig, Clifford, sister-in-law, Colleen Bohm, Grand Forks and many treasured nieces and nephews.

Lorrayne was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arnold.

  3. Blanchard Doug, Brad and families, Your mom was a very nice aunt, fun to visit. She enjoyed talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And of course her two sons!! She always remembered my birthday which was just a small way of how she spoiled me. I will miss her, but happy she is with Arnie.
