Louise R. (Ulness) Boyer, age 75, passed into our Lord?s hands on March 26, 2007 at Bethany Homes, Fargo. Louise was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and left this earth while surrounded by her loving husband of nearly 52 years, Gordon ?Bob?, and other close relatives.
Louise was born in Fargo, ND in 1931, graduated from Walcott High School, and attended Valley City State College. Louise was a teacher before she married Gordon in 1955, and they moved to Mandan, ND in 1959. There she and Gordon raised their three daughters, and Louise continued her work at Cass Clay Creameries as an office manager.
Louise was also a talented musician excelling in piano and vocals. She loved animals, and was an outstanding hostess, known for welcoming friends and relatives to their home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Nora Ulness, and her brother Earl.
Louise is survived by her husband, Gordon ?Bob?; and their daughters, Roberta (John Wong) Boyer, Woodland Hills, CA, Mary (Tony) Potenti, Palos Verdes Estates, CA, and Bonnie (Tim) Phillips, Hermosa Beach, CA; plus her adored grandchildren, Natalie and Cameron Wong, Matthew and Nora Potenti, and Eddie Phillips.
