Lucille Ann Kimball, 66, of West Fargo passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Essentia Health.

Lucille was born June 16, 1944 in Fargo, ND to Anna Christina (Dobler) and Ernest Schrenk. 

 Lucille grew up on a farm near Erie, ND where she attended school & graduated in 1962.  She married Alvin Erickson on June 22, 1963.  After his death she moved to West Fargo, ND.  She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo for 2 years.  Lucille worked at West Acres for many years as a custodian where her "gift of gab" was very well put to use.  On April 27, 1979, she married Milton Kimball.  In the 1990's Lucille attended NW Technical College in Moorhead for 2 years.  At the time of her death, she had been working at US Bank for 8 years as a customer service rep.  Lucille loved animals, particularly her 2 cats, Elvis & Morris.  She also loved to feed the wild animals in the yard & watch them come up to eat. 

 Lucille is survived by 2 sisters:  Delores Otterson, Fargo, ND and Gloria (Steve) Videen, Crookston, MN, 3 children:  Theresa Mills, Blackduck, MN; Marilyn Erickson, Wadena, MN and Paul Erickson, West Fargo, ND.  3 Step-children:  Milton (Ginny) Kimball Jr, Perham, MN; Nancy (Keith) Huntley, New York Mills, MN and Barb Kimball, Ottertail, MN.  10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents & both husbands.

  1. I’m so sorry for your lost. I knew Lucy from work she was a very sweet and gentle soul and always had a kind word for everyone. I would always get a smile and laugh from her when i would call her granny and she will be missed in many ways.

    Lucy was a beautiful person inside and out. She was so caring and genuine. Everytime I would see her in the hall at work she would smile. We would chat about her family. She loved you with all heart. I am going miss seeing her at work. Thoughts and prayers. May this beautiful lady rest in peace.

    I was shocked to hear of Lucy’s passing. We worked together at US Bank and I would always enjoy talking with her when I ran into her in the hallways. She will be missed.

  7. Rowlett TexasThis so saddens me as I was just looking at some photos of Lucille a few days ago.. Thought of her often, but could not locate her last time I was home.. She will remain in my thoughts and prayers as will the family. She is the third person from my life in Erie to pass away in the last few months..
