Margaret Jackson

Margaret Jackson, 46 of Grand Forks, ND, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Margaret was born on October 12, 1962 in Poland to Edward Nedzi and Janina Karasek. She grew up in Poland and moved to the United States in 1977, graduating from high school in Texas. Margaret moved to Fargo in 1982. She loved animals and enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, playing tennis, playing cards with friends and walking. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and 2 cousins. Margaret is survived by her mother, Janina (Melvin Rasmussen) Arvanitis of Fargo; brother, Andy (Dorota) Arvanitis of Arizona; uncle, Tim Karasek of New York and by Rasmussen family and friends. Visitation: Friday, December 26 from 9:00-10:30 am at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo. Funeral Mass: Friday, December 26 at 10:30 am at Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
