Dear McShane Family: It is with sadness that we heard about your mother’s passing. She was a good friend of my mother, Hildy Taylor, during her years at Villa Maria. I’ll always think of the two of them and their love of raspberry preserves. It so difficult to lose a wonderful parent and there is no one to replace a mother. May your wonderful memories carry you through your loss and sustain you in the years ahead. Also, thank you to all the McShanes that were so good to my mother. I have many happy memories and knowledge of your visits to her.
God bless all of you. Pat and Duane Berglund

  6. Fargo ND
A favorite aunt of the Radermacher family. We had long visits over coffee and her great cinnamon rolls. I have fond memories of my childhood visits to the McShane home where I was like one of their family. Will miss her a great deal.
    God bless all the McShanes.

  7. Davenport ND
    Dear Marjean, Cate, & family,

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I know she must have been a loving woman, based on the children she raised. Wishing you peace and comfort in your memories. Through you & yours, she’ll live on.

    Sincerely,
    Cathy (Grace (Reger) Plath’s daughter)

  8. Fargo ND
My sympathy to you all. I met your mom and dad when they lived in Sunwst Apartments. My late husband and your dad would talk about his days on the railroad as my husband was from Binford, ND
and your dad stayed overnight there and your mom and I would discuss baking and cooking. I sure missed her when your folks moved to Riverview. She was a very lovely lady. rveXu

  9. Wahpeton N DakI am so sorry I could not come to the funeral today – weather is not good. The same thing happened on the day of your dads service, when we got as far as Wolverton, Minn. and had to turn around. Margie was my best friend for life, and I really wanted to be there, but guess it was not meant to be. I so wanted to see the family and catch up with all of you.

My best to all of you and I know you will miss your mother terribly, as will I. I did not get to see her much in recent years, but as time passes, I did not drive on the highway anymore so it was difficult for me to get to Fargo. Only three of the sewing club left now. But we will all be together some day. Love, Marcella

  10. Fargo ND
I will miss Margie’s smiling face. She was a neighbor of my grandmother Helen at Villa Maria. Whether at mass, at the table, or just ‘sitting around’, she always smiled and was so gracious. I will miss seeing Margie’s face, but will not forget her smile. God Bless!

  11. Salem OregonOn behalf of the Morehead Clan we want to express our sincere sympathy for the loss of your Mom, sister, and grandmother!
For me personally “Mom” was a saint and I will remember so many fond days!
I am happy today that she is totally healthy and with her love Bill and family in heaven!
May our Lord Bless her comfort you all!
