Marilyn passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo at the age of 76. Marilyn was born on June 3, 1939, the daughter of Herbert and Christine (Eckman) Liedle in Eureka, SD. She grew up in this area and graduated from Eureka High School. Marilyn continued her education at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, graduating as a Registered Nurse. Marilyn was united in marriage to Harry “Buster” Miller and a daughter, Helene was born to this union. They later divorced and she moved to Estherville, IA. Marilyn moved to Fargo in 1974 and attended North Dakota State University and also Moorhead State University where she pursued her passion of Art. Her and her daughter moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1983 and she worked as a traveling nurse throughout the area. She also worked as a Chemical Dependency Nurse for the Arizona State Mental Hospital from where she retired. Marilyn moved back to Fargo in 2001 where she has since lived. She made her home at Villa Maria for the past eight years. Marilyn was a gifted artist and treasured her talents throughout her life. She loved being surrounded with people and was very friendly and outgoing – she was always fun to be around. Marilyn was also an avid reader and loved to spend time sewing and decorating. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Helene Brooks of West Fargo, ND; her two grandchildren, Jacob Brooks of Buckeye, AZ and Mariah Brooks of Mesa, AZ; her great granddaughter, Autumn Brooks-Jackson of Mesa, AZ; her brother, Herbert Jr. (Lynn) Liedle of Seattle, WA; her sister, Virginia (Richard) Greco of Aberdeen, SD; and many other very dear relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Villa Maria. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo
