Marjorie Lein, 88, Fargo, died Monday, August 4, 2003, in her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo.Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Thursday in Boulger Funeral Home. Marjorie I. Knudson was born July 29, 1915, in Fargo to Henry and Hannah (Broin) Knudson. Her family farmed in Horace, ND, until 1929 when a fire claimed their home. They then moved to Fargo. She graduated from Fargo Central High School. Marjorie married Oscar Lein on July 21, 1937. She worked as a bridal consultant at Herbst Department Store in Fargo for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar; and two brothers, Bill and Glenn. Marjorie is survived by her children, Linda (Michael) McGuire, Fargo, and Gary (Debi), Shoreview, MN; three brothers, Bud (Ruth), Stillwater, MN, Don (Audrey), Portland, OR, and Curt (Norma), San Diego, CA; two sisters, Maxine Lambert, Hemmitt, CA, and Doris (Burt) Bertelson, Grand Forks, ND; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
