Marjorie Toay

Marjorie A. Toay, Fargo, ND died Friday, December 25, 2009 in MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Marjorie A. Eells was born to Earl and Cecelia (Kelly) Eells on their farm near Jamestown, North Dakota. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1944 and moved to Fargo where she attended Dakota Business College. Marjorie Eells and Leo Toay were married in Jamestown on February 6, 1946. She began working for Selland Motors as a bookkeeper and worked there for 30 years. She also worked in Charitable Gaming for the Knights of Columbus, and the VFW and retired in 2002. Marjorie loved cooking and baking, she enjoyed Fashion, Hollywood gossip, and playing the piano by ear. She is survived by her husband, Leo; children, Kelly (Mark) Sertich, Grand Forks, ND, Paula Toay, Gurnee, IL, Marjorie (Robert) Olson, Kindred, ND, Leo S. (Suzanne)Toay, II, Maple Grove, MN; sisters,Lois (Eugene) Baenen, Lake Forest, IL, Jeanne (Wayne) Colberg, Fargo, ND; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by brother, Donald Eells, and sister, Marion Klein. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 29 at Boulger Funeral Home from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7 in the funeral home.
