Mark G. Christianson of Overland Park, KS passed away July 24, 2008.
Mark was born on January 19, 1970 to Gary and Ruth Ann Christianson in Fargo, ND. He grew up here in Fargo, was a student at Hawthorne Elementary School, graduated from Fargo South in 1988 and then attended NDSU.
Mark loved sports and wrestled in High School. As a kid Mark enjoyed spending his summers at his grandfather?s farm which led to his interest in farming and custom combining. Custom combining took Mark on the road for months at a time starting in Texas working his way up to Canada.
Mark also worked many years with his father as an electrician, then eventually getting into the Steel Metal Building business. In recent years he has lived in Kansas and sold Steel Metal Buildings in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa area.
He enjoyed riding snowmobile but even more so loved to ride his Harley Davidson. It was truly his passion.
Mark had two beautiful daughter, both he loved so very much and enjoyed spending his time with them.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Paige Christianson, Fargo; parents, Gary and Ruth Ann Christianson, Fargo; siblings, Scott and Lisa Christianson, both of Fargo; grandmother, Ruth Christianson, Jamestown, ND; Zola Vlach, Gelnfield, ND; and fianc? Linda Tingelhoff, Overland Park, KS.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Maggie Mae Tingelhoff-Christianson, grandfather, Elmer Christianson, grandfather, Joe Vlach, and infant brother.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, Fargo, There will be a prayer service at 7;00 p.m. Tuesday in the Boulger Chapel, Fargo. Burial will be at a later date in Sutton, ND.
