Mark Partlow, 59, of Fargo, passed away surrounded by family and friends, on Friday October 28, 2011 at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Mark was born in Carrington, ND to Fred and Jeannette (Messmer) Partlow. He grew up in the Fargo area and graduated from Fargo South High in 1971. Mark enlisted in the Marine Corp and was proud to be called a U.S. Marine. Mark worked numerous jobs, but his passion was traveling, so he made truck driving his career of 42 years, seeing all but 2 states. Mark retired in 2010 and spent time enjoying family, friends, and the outdoors. Mark met Shirley in 1993, enjoying the family life and finally married on April 1, 2011.

Mark is survived by his wife Shirley, Fargo; two stepchildren: Anthony (Tabitha) West Fargo; Lindsay (Branden) Fargo; brothers: Fred, Missouri, Dave (Pam), Fargo; Mother Jeannette, Fargo; his pride and joy his grandson Lee Allen, Fargo.

Mark was preceded in death by his farther Fred Partlow, his brother Donald Partlow and his sister Carol (Partlow) Johanson.

    I did not know of Marks passing. He was a friend for many years. Even though I went to North High, I met Mark through friends at South High School. I am truly sorry.
