Mary Fuxa

Mary A. Fuxa, 85 of Fargo, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Innovis Hospital in Fargo. Mary was born on May 28, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN to Joseph and Rebecca (Eidsvold) Fuxa. She lived in Bloomington, MN, Mahnomen, MN, Bejou, MN and Staples, MN. She graduated from Moorhead State University with a BS in education and received her Masters in Education from Purdue University. Mary was a classroom teacher/librarian for 40 years, retiring in 1986. Mary was a member of Nativity Church in Fargo, Catholic Daughters, Fargo Retired Teachers and Cass County Area Retired Teachers. She was preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Kenneth Eidsvold. Memorials are preferred to Presentation Sisters, 1101 32nd Ave. S., Fargo, ND, 58103 or to donor’s choice. Visitation: Thursday, May 28 from 5-7 pm at Church of the Nativity, Fargo and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Friday. Prayer Service: Thursday at 7:00 pm at the church. Funeral Mass: Friday, May 29 at 10:30 am at Church of the Nativity in Fargo. Interment: St. Michael’s Cemetery, Mahnomen, MN. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
