Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My prayers and sympathy are with the Prom family. May you find comfort in your memories and consolation in your faith. May Math rest in peace.

  2. Lynn and Prom family, our sympathy to all of you in the passing of Math. It was a pleasure to know Math over the years as an employee, neighbor and friend. He will be missed. Jim and Carole Camrud.

  3. To Lynn and the Prom family. Our deepest sympathy on the news of Matt’s passing. His picture captured the warmhearted smile we remember from seeing Matt at Nativity Church. Matt was the “best” best man we could have had at our wedding 38 years ago.

    You are in our prayers.
    John and Jean Stadsvold
    Omaha, NE

  4. My sympathy to Lynn and all the Prom family. I was privileged to know him and give a blessing this past October. Know that you will be held in prayer these days as you celebrate his life. May he Rest In Peace. Father Ken Gross

  5. My sympathy to all of Math’s family for their loss.

I knew Math as my foreman at Camrud-Foss for two summers during college 50 years ago. Pouring foundations is hard, messy work and I still remember him as an enthusiastic, cheerful leader who pushed us to work as hard as possible and to produce the highest quality work. We responded positively to his leadership and he was liked and respected by all.

  6. I remember Matt from his wonderful smile. Matt was my son’s confirmation teacher. Matt was a joy to our small world.

  7. Deacon Math was one of my Confirmation teachers. I remember him as wise, patient and kind. Peace and blessings to him, and to his family. ❤

  8. Lynn- you and Matt are one of our very favorite folks – Matt was such a model of character and love- he will be greatly missed – blessings to you and whole extended family , with much love Gail and Larry

  9. He has been sorely missed in our Morning Prayer group at Our Lady of the Valley. We have continued to remember him in prayer, especially on his birthdate and ordination date. May he rest in peace and our sympathies and prayers continue for Lynn and the family.

  10. Lynn,
We are so sorry to hear of Matt’s death. We so much enjoyed our opportunities to meet with the two of you at our diaconate gatherings. He and you represented the Diocese of Fargo so very well – always enthusiastic and so welcoming. After leaving the director position of the Diocese of St. Cloud, we have not had the opportunity to stay in touch but did very much enjoy our visit at Our Lady of the Valley some years ago. May God continue to provide you peace, light and hope in this transition. In God’s love, Dcn Vern & Diane

  11. I had the pleasure of knowing Math for over 50 years. Our construction company worked with Math, and Camrud Foss for nearly all of Math’s career. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Math. I used to enjoy the times I “helped” him stake out our basement. I don’t think he needed my help, but we enjoyed each others company!

He loved God, he loved his family and he had a love for his fellow man. I am humbled when I think about all the work he did for charities! He exemplifies what it means to be a servant of our Lord. I am proud to have called him a friend.

  12. Lynn,
My thoughts and prayer. Matt served on the Catholic Family Service Board at the time I was a member. A very nice man!
    Anita Dobbs

  13. We shall remember you in our prayers with gratitude for having known you as a highly respected Deacon in the church. Helen and Lila (Diemert & McDermott).
