Mavis Ganje, age 82, of Fargo, ND, passed away, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo, surrounded by her loving family.
Mavis Petsinger was born to Alfred and Helen Petsinger at Rock Lake, ND on February 7, 1931. As a child, she moved with her parents to Leeds, ND, where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1949.
She married Leonard Ganje on August 12, 1950 at Leeds, ND. She worked for the K-Mart store in Fargo for over 30 years, retiring in 1994.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leonard; children, Larry (Jane) Ganje; Terry (Becky) Ganje; Jeffrey (Janice) Ganje - all of Fargo; Sheila (Roy) Thompson of Buffalo, ND; and Diana (Ron) Dow of Fargo; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; her brother, Harold of Carrington, ND and sister, Ann of Atascadero, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Doris Horesji.

Certainly the dawn has come to someone who has loved her family and her Lord.
