Maxine Erickson

Maxine M. Erickson, 87, Fargo passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at Elim Care and Rehab Center, Fargo.

Maxine was born June 16, 1925 in Westport, SD to Harry and Rosella (McCormick) Palmer. She grew up in Aberdeen, attending Aberdeen Central High School. She worked in the Aberdeen area before marrying Marvin Erickson on September 1, 1950 at Sacred Heart Church, Aberdeen, SD. The couple moved to Fargo in 1958 where Maxine worked as an operator at Bell Telephone Company until her retirement.

Maxine enjoyed having many garage sales at her house. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Maxine is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Marvin, Fargo; children, Clark (Linda) Erickson, Mesa, AZ; Brett Erickson, Arvada, CO; and grandchildren, Tanner and Lauren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, June, Beverly and Mattie.
