Merlyn served in the United States Navy from 1959 -1963 on the USS Preserver. He was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years, logging more than 4 million miles. The open road was his playground. He was married and lived in the Twin Cities having four children but eventually coming back to North Dakota settling back in the Fargo area in the early 90’s. He loved fishing, going out to dinner with family and friends, and enjoyed bringing laughter with jokes and stories with a memory like no other. 2. Sorry I will not be able too make it up but you are all in my prayers. I am so happy I got to see Merlyn in May and to be able to visit with him. Wish you all God’s blessing, Uncle Bob and Great Uncle Bob from Wichita Kansas.

  3. To the Family of Merlyn,

Merlyn was a guy full of love, laughter and kindness. My most favorite memories of him are the ones of him telling me the newest Jokes he knew. I worked with Merlyn thru picking up pasta from Dakota Growers. I have missed him so much over the past months or more. I will forever remember him and hope he is up in heaven sharing his jokes and bringing laughter to all the people around him.

My most sincere thoughts and Prayers,

    Nicole Geiszler
