Milton Fogel

Milton Fogel, 85, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at ManorCare, Fargo, ND. Milton ?Milt? Dalton Fogel was born on September 24, 1921 to Amiel and Lora (Bauer) Fogel in Hawley, MN. After his schooling in Hawley, he worked on the family farm. He enlisted in the Navy. He married Muriel Stowasser on December 14, 1944 at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. They made their home in Brooklyn Center, MN. She died in 1973. Milt worked as a maintenance engineer with the Coast to Coast Company. He worked for Pickwick International as maintenance engineer until he retired. He married Marjorie Davies on November 30, 1974. She died in 1995. He moved to Eventide Assisted Living in Moorhead, MN in 2002. He became a resident at Manor Care in 2005. Milt was a long time member of the Brooklyn Center Lions Club and held many officer positions. He volunteered for the Brooklyn Center Little League. A Brooklyn Center Little League Field is named ?Fogel Field? after Milt. He was a hunter and an avid sports fan, watching football, basketball, and baseball. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl ?Cheri? (Loren) Coffman, Yuma, AZ, and Jean (Andrew) Hellerud, Fargo, ND; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Mavis Fugere, Fargo, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, both wives, and 8 siblings. Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, and 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND Prayer Service: 7:00 pm Thursday at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Funeral: 10:30 am Friday, March 30, 2007 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, Burial will follow immediately at Hawley Cemetery, Hawley, MN.
