Neil Hashbarger

Neil S. Hashbarger, 76 of Fargo, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at his home. Neil was born on March 18, 1932 in Hope, North Dakota to Lloyd and Ella (Kallestad) Hashbarger. He grew up and graduated from high school in Hope. He married Lucy Seidlitz in 1952 in Fargo. They lived and farmed near Hope until moving to Fargo in 1992. Neil loved flying and obtained his private pilot?s license in 1987. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Lawrence and Ralph; granddaughter, Kelley and infant son. Neil is survived by his wife, Lucy of Fargo; children, Deborah Sandford of Jamestown, ND, Joel (Jane) Hashbarger of Hope, ND, Nancy (Bruce) Stevens of Spearfish, SD, Jerry (Kim) Hashbarger of Hope, ND; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Wednesday, October 29 from 5-8 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Funeral Service: Thursday, October 30 at 11:00 am at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Interment: Thursday, October 30 at 3:00 pm at Hope Cemetery, Hope, North Dakota with a reception to follow at the Hope Legion Hall. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
