Oliver (Dan) DuBord, 91, Fargo ND, died on Wednesday July 18th, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN.

Dan DuBord was born October 7, 1915 in Wild Rice, ND, the son of Arthur DuBord and Lumina (Rheault) DuBord. He attended St. Joseph?s School at St. Benedict?s in Wild Rice, ND. He grew up on the family farm and was later united in marriage with Theresa Richard on July 7, 1943 at St. Benedict?s Catholic Church.

He served in the Reserve Corp during WWII. He worked as an electrician for Central Electric in Fargo, ND and worked at NDSU as a master electrician from 1954 until his retirement in 1980

Dan enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his summer cabin on Lake Maud where he resided in the summer for the past 50 years. Dan moved to Riverview Place where he has lived for the past 2 years. He was an active member of St Mary?s Cathedral in Fargo .

He is survived by 3 sons, Bob (Rhonda), Miami FL; Jerry (Peg), Minnetrista, MN; Mark (Colleen) Fargo, ND and daughter, Julie (Larry) Romero, Thornton, CO; 2 brothers Earnest DuBord, Fargo, ND; Paul DuBord, West Fargo, ND; 9 grandchildren , Cris (Scott) deVillers, Chanhassen, MN, Sarah (Dave) Wilker, Eden Prairie, MN, Shaun DuBord, Minnetrista, MN, Lesley and Ashley DuBord, Miami, FL; Jessica and Nicole Romero, Thornton, CO, Shane and Stephanie DuBord, Fargo, ND; 3 great grandchildren, Bennett and William deVillers and Tate Wilker.

He is preceded in death by his wife Theresa DuBord, 2 Brothers, Armand (Pete) and Donat DuBord, 2 sisters, Antoinette Richard and Cecil DuBord.

Visitation is Sunday, July 22, from 6-7 pm at Riverview Place Chapel, Fargo ND
and Monday, July 23, from 9-10 am at St. Mary?s Cathedral, Fargo.

The rosary will be recited Sunday at Riverview Place Chapel at 7 p.m. followed by a prayer service.

The funeral Mass is Monday, July 23 at 10:00 am at St. Mary?s Cathedral.

Burial is in Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo ND
