Ona Mae Larson, 87, Fargo passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.

Ona Mae was born September 15, 1925 in Drayton, North Dakota to Lars and Mae (Pederson) Larson. She grew up and graduated from Drayton High School in 1943. She married Henry Larson at Skjeberg Church, Drayton in 1944. The couple made their home in Reynolds. Henry passed away in 2006.

Henry and Ona Mae farmed in the Reynolds area until their retirement. For several years they enjoyed the winter months in the favorite location of McAllen, TX. During the summer, Ona Mae loved spending time at Lake of the Woods, Maple Lake and Lake Sally where she loved always having her family there to enjoy all the activities. She also enjoyed fishing with her signature baseball cap on.

Ona Mae is survived by her children; Patrick (Renei) Larson, Alexandria, MN, Cindy (Larry) Whetzel, Hillsboro, ND, John Larson, West Fargo, ND, Jill (Bob) Majkrzak, West Fargo, ND, special sister-in-law; Jean Larson, Grand Forks, ND, 9 grandchildren; Tina, Troy, Amy, Mari, Katie, Scott, Sara, Steven and Lacey and 14 great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Rylend, Taryn, Everett, Bailey, McKenzie, Kallie, Gracie, Taylor, Ryder, Parker, Presley, Niveah and Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jay and grand-daughter, Christine.

I remember many great times with this great lady in Texas. She has left behind many great memories for many people.
