Orlin Ness

Orlin ?O.C.? Ness Fargo, North Dakota Orlin passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo at the age of 76. Orlin was born on January 23, 1932, on the family farm near Christine, ND, the son of Ole and Laura (Halverson) Ness. He grew up in this area and received his education. Orlin was united in marriage to Dorothy Young on December 9, 1951 in Leonard, ND. Through his life Orlin worked in insurance sales, as a farmer and trucker, and most of all as a musician. He was a very gifted musician who played piano and accordion at area nursing homes, the Legion and VFW Clubs and many other places. He had a great love for people and enjoyed the conversation and company of family and friends. Orlin is survived by his children, Wanda (Dennis) Patrick of Christine, ND; Mark (Diane) Ness of Underwood, ND; Craig Ness of Buxton, NC; Curtis (Jan) Ness of Fargo; and Marie Loegering of Erie, ND; his grandchildren - Denise (Erik) Johnson, Chad Patrick, Wendy (Stephen) Coskran, Shaun Ness, Allison Ness, Elliot Ness, Jennifer (Rod) Rios, David Ness, Laura Ness, Gina Bornemann, Davin Loegering, Marie Loegering, David Loegering; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Johnson and Tamara Bornemann. Orlin was preceded in death by his parents.
