Otillie ?Tillie? Annette Blumer, 93, Walcott, ND, died June 1, 2003, at Villa Maria, Fargo, ND, under Hospice care. She was born September 20, 1909, to Carl and Anna (Bakken) Walberg on the family farm in Viking Township, ND. She attended the Smith Country School and a dress-making school in Fargo, ND. On June 28, 1928, she married Harold Blumer. They lived on the family farm, ?The Pleasant Valley Stock Farm? for 65 years. In 1993, they moved to an apartment in Walcott. Harold died on October 27, 1994. Tillie was baptized and confirmed in the Walcott Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Walcott, for 74 years. She was the church organist for 30 years, and was active in the United Methodist Women?s Organization, Gideon Auxiliary, Colfax and Walcott Senior Citizens. She is survived by Irene (Gordon) Graff, Black Hawk, SD; Boyd (Evelyn) Blumer, Mitchell, SD; Arlen (Marilyn) Blumer, Kindred, ND; Karen (Leonard) Heyen, Colfax, ND; Cheryl (Andre) Trottier, Los Alamos, NM; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred, on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Walcott.
