Patricia passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, surrounded by her family.

Patricia Desotel was born July 9, 1935 to George and Marie Sauvageau.  She was born in Fargo and lived on the farm. She attended and graduated school at St. Benedict Academy. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerald Desotel on August 11, 1956 at St. Benedict Church and they made their home in Wild Rice.

Pat worked briefly at First National Bank before devoting her life to her husband and family. Pat adored her family and spent endless hours caring and nurturing them.  She enjoyed card games and Sunday meals with her grandkids.  She spent her spare time reading and doing needlework.  She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed canning.  Pat was a loving and giving soul who spent her years caring and raising many children in her daycare.

Pat is survived by her husband Jerald of 57 years;  sons - Jeffrey (Wendy) Kent, WA, Doug, Fargo; daughters - Tamara (Brent) Cummings, Fargo, Heidi (Gregg) Matejka, Fargo;  brothers – Charles (Marion Sauvageau) Fargo, Terrance Sauvageau, Fargo;  sister – Sharon Fritz; 9 grandchildren: Matthew; Kellie (Chris Rivard), Jared;  Chantel, Grant;  Danielle, Cassie, Brittany, and Aaron; 2 great-grandchildren, Emily and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie Sauvageau.
