Patrick Leach

Patrick J. Leach, 64, Hillsboro, ND died Saturday, Nov.11, 1006 in Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Patrick James Leach the son of Jay and Norma (Erickson) Leach was born August 18, 1942 at Hibbing, MN. As a young child he moved with his family to East Grand Forks, MN. Patrick grew up there and graduated from East Grand Forks High School. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1960 and was stationed in Japan. After his discharge in 1963 he returned home. Mr. Leach began working for the Burlington Northern Railroad in East Grand Forks, where he worked as a machinist . Patrick married Lynn Adair in Moorhead, MN on Aug. 22, 1970. The couple lived in East Grand Forks until 1984, when they moved to Moorhead, MN after Mr. Leach was transferred to Dilworth, MN with the Burlington Northern. He worked for the company for 25 years before retiring .in 1989. Mr. Leach was employed by the Holiday Inn in Fargo, where he worked part-time in the office for a number of years. The couple moved to Hillsboro, ND in 2003. Mr. Leach had been working part-time for Enhanced Properties of Moorhead until his death. He is survived by his wife; a son, John, Fargo; a daughter, Alison of Arthur, ND; two brothers, Lloyd (Elaine) Leach, Fairfield, OH and Charles (Cathy) Leach, Monroe, WA; sister Julie Brown, Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Baily and Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Jay Jr. . Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wed in St. Joseph=s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.on Tuesday in the Boulger Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Visitation also at the church one hour before the funeral on Wednesday.
