Paul Dutt Jr., 77, Fargo died Thursday in his home on August 21, 2014, surrounded by family.

Paul was born April 26, 1937 in Brainerd, MN., to Paul and Rachel (Dschuden) Dutt Sr. He graduated from Fargo Central High School. Paul married Lou Ann Chartier on October 6, 1956. The couple lived in Fargo, where they raised four daughters and two sons. Paul proudly served the Fargo Fire Department for 23 years. Paul retired after an injury in the line of duty.

He is survived by his wife Lou Ann and six children; Lori (Michael) Block, Fargo, Becki (Arthur) Nyhof, Menomonee Falls, WI, Tammi (Cory) Weiss, Fargo, Merri (Jacob) Verghis, Fargo, Paul (Julie) Dutt III, Fargo and Todd (Mary) Dutt, West Fargo. Also surviving are  nineteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, his sisters, Wanda (Alton) Kaastad, Sara (Tom) Reff and Donna (James) Grattelo.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Florence and a niece Susan.
