I am so sorry to hear about Phyllis. I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I am thinking how fortunate you were that you had her in your life for so many years and have such a wonderful family because of her.
I have to admit sometimes I think of how I used to drive you crazy when I worked for you and I smile when I hear your voice saying to me that I was almost going to drive you to drink again. I am thankful for those memories. I am also glad I never got you too crazy.
I will keep you in my thoughts.
    love, Marna

    Dear Bud and Family,

We were saddened to hear of passing of Phyllis. We could not make it into Fargo yesterday for the funeral but we wanted to tell you what a wonderful person we thought she was. She was always so much fun and what a conversationalist! We loved to visit with her. What a bright interesting lady. We had so much fun on all those Standard Oil trips we went on with both of you. Very good memories.

We send you our Love, Sympathy, and Prayers.

I have wonderful memories of my childhood living near Bud & Phyllis and the Cossette Family. I remember Phyllis would call and let me know whenever the raspberries in her garden were ripe. She would invite me over for “berry-picking”, but she knew that bucket would never get full because those berries went straight from the bush to my mouth 🙂 She never minded, and kept inviting me over and over again. She loved her kids so much, and was so great to us neighbor kids, too. Thanks for sharing her with us. She’ll always be a part of my childhood, and she is fondly remembered.
