Recent years I swung by when they have been in AZ
when I try to get out of cold north land. She will be missed!

St. Louis MOUncle Ed, cousins Mike, Barry, Vic, Ben, and Sally and family,

We are so sad for you at the loss of Aunt Phyllis. She will certainly be missed by all. I have fond memories of visits to the farm when we were growing up and frequent stops to see her at the Tower Cafe when I was traveling between ND
    SU and Bismarck.
After Bill and I moved away from ND
the visits have been fewer, but she has often been in my thoughts, especially through her illness.

We will have a Mass said for Aunt Phyllis at our church in St. Louis on the 6th of June. Though we cannot be with you on Sunday, our thoughts and prayers will be with you. As we suffer the pain of losing her let us remember that pain and suffering are no longer part of her life in heaven. Phyllis has now joined her parents and my mom in singing with the angels!

We hope to get together with some of you when we visit ND
over Memorial Day. We will keep in touch.

I am fortunate that I had the chance to visit Aunt Phyllis in recent years. One of those times was when my sister Teresa and I were in Mesa, AZ
visiting our dad. Aunt Phyllis was her usual self–sharing stories of family and pictures of her great-grandchildren. I will miss her smile and her “chattiness.”
I am also glad that I was able to see Aunt Phyllis before she died–to hold her hand and say “I love you.” Now she is with her sister (my mother) Darlene, smiling down on us all.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Eastleys at this time.

Aberdeen, S.D.Thank you kids, for keeping me informed, of my sister’s
health and progression, until my health, and family
situations allowed me to come and be with you, and her,
in her final hours. I’m forever grateful for outstanding
care the Meritcare’s Palliative Care Unit gave Phyllis,
her family and friends, during this very emotional time,
in our lives. Thank you again, Ed, kids, and Meritcare’s
Palliative Care Unit, for making Phyllis’ final days,
as comfortable as possible for her.

Although I never met your mother, I am amazed at how much you look like her!
I’m glad you were home and able to spend time with your mom as the end drew near. I’m sure that meant alot to her.

Spokane Valley WAAunt Phyllis will be missed greatly even though I have seen her seldom in the last years. She was always kind and generous to me. Her homemade lefse was always a wonderful treat (something that I have since learned to make as well.)

Her children (my cousins) have been important throughout my life and I offer my heartfelt sympathy for their loss.

She is now with her sister, my Mom, and can now enjoy life everlasting. My Mom always told me that no matter what she would be laughing at the things that my children do that I did when growing up. I hope that Aunt Phyllis and Mom have a glorious time smiling and laughing at what we do, our kids do, our grandkids do, etc.
