Ralph D. McGarvey, 71, Fargo passed away Thursday, February 25 in Phoenix AZ.
Ralph was born July 15, 1938 in Bismarck ND to Charles and Rose (Miles) McGarvey. He grew up and attended St. Mary’s High School. Throughout Ralphs life he was a sales rep, owning Hatch’s Gift Shop in Dubuque IA.
Ralph loved spending time with his family and enjoyed playing guitar and singing at family reunions. He enjoyed outdoor gardening, boating and his little 4-legged companion Annie.
Ralph is survived by his wife Bobbie (Erjavec), son Michael (Sharon) McGarvey, Phoenix AZ, daughters; Kelli (Joe) Bergen, Cold Spring MN, and Maureen (Scott) Koob, Fargo ND, 5 grandaughters, one step-grand-daugher, brothers; Richard (Flora) McGarvey, Fargo ND, Pat (Trisha) McGarvey, UT, Jerry (Angie) McGarvey, Castleton NY, Tom McGarvey, Fargo ND, sisters; Marian (Bill) Willmann, Bismarck ND, Patricia (Mel) Dunbar, Des Moines IA, RoseMary (Richard) Chichester, Mt Laurel NJ, and Peggi (Gene) Guilbault, Hunter ND and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved him dearly.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rose(Miles) McGarvey, Terry McGarvey, Chuck McGarvey and Bob McGarvey.
There will be a prayer service on Sunday, March 7 at 7pm in Boulger Funeral Home with visitation starting at 5pm.
There will be a funeral on Monday, March 8 at 2:30pm in Nativity Catholic Church with visitation starting at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Roger Maris Cancer Center, Fargo.
