Raymond Capouch

Raymond L. Capouch, age 86, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Innovis Health, Fargo, ND. Raymond was born on July 14, 1922 at home on the farm near Pisek, ND to Philip and Mary (Machovsky) Capouch. He graduated from Park River High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving from January 1944 to May 1946 stationed in the South Pacific during WWII. He worked for the National Tea Company in Grafton, ND upon his discharge. Raymond married June McDermaid on November 15, 1948 in Grafton. He opened his own meat market in Grafton. He was employed at Wally?s Super Fair for 25 years as the meat market manager. Raymond and June moved to Fargo in the early 1990?s and he worked at Hornbacher?s Village West in the meat department. Raymond was a past Grand Knight and a member of the Lion?s Club and VFW in Grafton, ND. He was also active in the Golden ?K? Kiwanis Club in Fargo. Raymond was a very hard working, dedicated and kind man. He enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, traveling, and vacationing with relatives. He is survived by his children: Kenneth LeRoy Capouch, Fargo, ND, Diane Rae Patten, West Fargo, ND Sandra Jean Port (Don) Bailley, CO, Gail Ann Capouch, Brighton, CO, Robert Keith Capouch (Natalie) Moorhead, MN, David Allen Capouch (Vicky) Baudette, MN, Kevin Ernest Capouch (Benita) Fargo, ND, Nancy Jo Noble (Stuart) Baudette, MN, Susan Marie Guzman (Fred) Lakeville, MN, Randy Jay Capouch, Fargo, ND, Jeffery Lynn Capouch (JoAnn) West Fargo, ND, Kerri Lee Johnson (Greg) Baudette, MN; 21 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Harriet Barnes (Joe) Lebanon, TN, Maryann Nordin, Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND, and Ernie Capouch, Naperville, IL. He is preceded in death by his wife: June; and siblings: Herman Capouch, Bernie Capouch, Beatrice Karnahan, Robert Capouch, and Albert Capouch. Visitation: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND and one hour prior to the service at the church. Prayer Service: 7:00 pm on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND. Funeral: 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND.
