Rebecca Graff

rebecca graff

Rebecca Anne Graff of Fargo ND, born May 22, 1962, died on March 25, 2010 at Merit Care Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Bismarck, ND to Shirley Svihla and Maynard Veith. In her efforts to meet the man she knew was her future husband, Rebecca applied as an overnight waitress working for Michael Graff.  Rebecca later turned these efforts into a successful 27 year marriage blessed with their two children Cameron and Carmen.

Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who assisted her husband in managing the North American Steak Buffet until she was no longer able. In her final years at home Rebecca was heavily involved in crafts, which she made for friends and loved ones. Rebecca touched the lives of many, extending our family to include nurses, doctors, dialysis patients, coworkers, neighbors and so many more...

She is survived by her husband Michael Graff and two children Cameron and Carmen Graff all of Fargo, mother Shirley Svihla and brothers Charles and Jamie Veith of Bismarck, and brother Bryan Svihla of Metarie, LA and many extended family (and last but not least her beloved dog Snooky).

Words can’t begin to express the sorrow I feel by losing my best friend for all of these 47 years.

You were an angel sent to me by God to help me celebrate all of the great things in my life, as well as help ease my burden for the not so wonderful things in my life.

If I could take away the burden of sorrow that Mike, Cameron, Carmen and the rest of your family is going through, I would.

Let God take care of you the way you have taken care of so many of us during your short time here.

I love you and miss you.
