Richard Elizondo

Richard Manuel Elizondo, 59, died suddenly at his home in Elk River, MN on Saturday, August 30, 2008. Richard was born to Frances and Juan Jose Elizondo on June 18, 1949. He was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South in 1968. He married Rosalie Richard at Nativity Catholic Church on September 15, 1969. In 1975 they moved to Elk River, MN to make their home and raise their children, Carrie, John, Jessica and Monica. Richard?s favorite things in life were spending time with his family and kids. He enjoyed family vacations, trips to Fargo, playing games, cooking dinners, watching ?the big game?, spending time at the lakes, going out for coffee and people watching. Most of all, Richard loved laughing and joking with his family. His sense of humor, smile and kind, gentle nature will be greatly missed. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Elizondo; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Yvette and Nick Richard. He is survived by his wife, Rosie of Elk River, MN; his children, Carrie (Shawn) Elizondo-Hudak and grand baby Hudak of Maple Grove, MN, John Elizondo of Eagan, MN, Jessica (DJ) Elmer of Big Lake, MN and Monica Elizondo of Elk River, MN. Visitation: Tuesday, September 2 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour prior to Mass in the church on Wednesday. Prayer Service: Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass: Wednesday, September 3 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo. Interment: Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
