Roanne Roselyn Huebsch, age 52, went Home September 11, 2006 at her home in Prairie Rose, ND after a long battle with cancer. Roanne was born to Marvin and Muriel (Bettenhausen) Schilling, May 13, 1954 in Wishek, ND. She grew up and graduated from Wishek High School then pursued a Music Education Degree at North Dakota State University. Roanne married Dennis Huebsch on June 11, 1977 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church in Wishek, ND. Roanne and Dennis have raised two children, Melissa and Brady. Roanne used her great musical talents to teach piano lessons, as well as general music to students at Eastwood Elementary in West Fargo for 27 years. She touched many lives through music and her sense of humor. Roanne was very active at Atonement Lutheran Church and served as the organist for many years. In addition to serving the church and teaching, Roanne was Entertainment Director for the residents at the Waterford at Harwood Groves. She was well loved by the Waterford residents and enjoyed every minute of her time there. In her spare time Roanne enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake, at home, and on vacations. She loved to bake, can, and keep up a garden full of vegetables and flowers. Roanne was a source of inspiration to everyone she met. She will always be remembered as her angel wings touch us from above. Roanne is survived by her parents Marvin and Muriel Schilling, Bismarck, ND; her brother, Louie Schilling, Los Angeles, CA; her husband Dennis; and children, Melissa Huebsch, Jackson, MN and Brady Huebsch, Prairie Rose, ND. In lieu of flowers donations are recommended to Wishek High School Scholarship Fund for Students going into Music Education. Memorial Service: Saturday, September 16th, 2006 at 10:00 am at Atonement Lutheran Church, Fargo, North Dakota Visitation: One hour prior to service at church.
