Rodney R. Weidner, 67, Fargo passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Rodney was born February 19, 1952 in Hazen, North Dakota to Roland and Deane (Tabert) Weidner. He graduated from Beulah High School in 1970. He was the first child of five boys. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Kay Hoepfner on May 13, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Beulah, North Dakota and started their loving, fun filled life together. They lived in Fargo and Bismarck where their two children were born. He was a caring, joyful man who loved his family with all his heart. His main passion was golf, which he enjoyed doing whenever he had the chance. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Kay, Fargo; children, Jeremy (Janine) Weidner, Lakeland, FL, Laura (Andrew) Job, Fergus Falls, MN; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; mother, Deane Weidner, Beulah, ND; brothers, Harlon (Lynnae) Weidner and Mike (Lisa) Weidner, both of Beulah, ND, Dennis Weidner, Wahpeton, ND, Tim Weidner, West Fargo, ND and sister-in-law, Melinda Hoepfner, Bismarck, ND. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Roland. Memorial Mass: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo with visitation starting at 12:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Pancreatic Cancer Society, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200 - Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
