Ronald "Ron" Rheault

ronald
Our exceptional and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend has gone to be with our Lord. Even when his life was cut short, he lived life more than many. He will be missed every day and loved forever and ever. Ron was born in Moorhead, MN on August 24, 1956. He lived and grew up in the Horace, ND area. He attended Kindred High School and graduated in 1974. After school, he worked 20 years with his father, who taught him the mastery of carpentry. His brother also joined them. These were the people everyone called to build, remodel, shingle, etc. because they were the best. In 1995, Ron went to work for Pella Windows as a service technician. Ron traveled to many, many places to take care of any issues anyone had. He worked with the most wonderful group of people you ever will meet. We loved them so very much. Ron was a born fisherman and he did this as often as he was able. His other hobbies included hunting, collecting anything and everything. He had interests in boats, guns, knives, antiques, coins, metal detecting, traveling, and mostly being with his best buddies. The most important thing in life was his grandchildren, Lucy and Jackson. He always had a way on making them laugh and played for hours and hours with them. The bond they had was beyond amazing. They could not wait to come to just be with him. Ron is survived by his wife, Ronda, mother, Leonie, Fargo, ND, daughter, Brea (Jeremy), Moorhead, MN, son, Drew (Chelsie), Fargo ND, his grandchildren Lucy and Jackson. Brothers and Sisters, Bob (Pat), Keith (Denise), Colleen Rude (Rob). Cheryl Wise (Wade), Les (Jennifer), and Doreen Beck (Brad), and many nieces, and nephews. Ron is preceded in death by his father, Raymond and brother, Duane. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 26, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo.

  27. Rhonda and family,
I just heard, and I am so very sorry. I know that many, including us, were praying hard for Ron to get through this and become well again. Sometimes there are no answers, but we know that he’s in God’s hands, and I imagine he is now joining Wayne and Ron and drinking a brew. My thoughts and prayers to you all.
    Love, Dick and Teri Fillmore
