Sandra Jegtvig

Sandra Jegtvig Sandy, age 43, of Fargo, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Sandy Abel was born on September 12, 1963 in Bedford, IN. She served in the United States Military for 17 years achieving the rank of Sergeant. She served in various locations both at home and abroad including Desert Storm. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #260 in Fargo where she was the past Exalted Ruler. She was also a member of the Fargo American Legion Post #2. Sandy volunteered for many organizations in the Fargo area. Sandy was formerly employed by Swanson?s Health Products and Fargo Public Schools. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Christopher David Bales and Zachariah Michael Bales both of Fargo; grandson, Isaac Mathew of Fargo; her parents, Robert and Phyllis (Hall) Abel of Bedford, IN; her sisters, Pammi (Randy) Prewitt of Oolitic, IN, Debbie (Jim) Speer of Black Canyon City, AZ; her brother, Michael Scott Abel of Bedford, IN; two nephews, Landon Garland and Jim Speer III; two nieces, Lindsay Garland and Sara Speer; three great nieces and a great nephew; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and two uncles.
