Sarah Olmstead

Sarah Olmstead, age 84, Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park, MN, formerly of West Fargo, ND, died Monday, August 25, 2003 in the care center. Sarah Briski was born July 3, 1919 near Ardoch, ND where she grew up and attended school. She married John Olmstead November 21, 1938 in Ardoch. They lived in the Forest River, ND area. Mr. Olmstead died in 1975. She moved to West Fargo in 1989 and to Sunnyside Care Center in 2000. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Vold, Everett, WA and Alice (Orvin) Johnson, Lake Park, MN; two sons, Larry (Loni) Olmstead, Issaquah, WA, and Tim (Louise) Olmstead, Sitka, AK; daughter-in-law, Marty Olmstead, Forest River, ND; one brother, Steve (Susan) Briski, Ardoch, ND; three sisters, Helen Lunski, Grand Forks, ND, Amelia Hefta, and Eleanor Hefta, both Forest River, ND; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
