Selma passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital at the age of 87.

Selma Loraine Olson was born on June 13, 1923, near Hillsboro in Eldorado Township, the daughter of Ole and Johanna (Evenson) Olson. She was baptized at St. Olaf Lutheran Church on July 8, 1923 and attended school at Eldorado Township #5. She was confirmed at the church on June 6, 1937. Selma was united in marriage to Harry Ervin Dullum on November 2, 1950 at St. Olaf Church. They made their home with her parents on the family farm. Selma worked many years helping with the farm and was well known for her eggs she sold to many area residents. She was a life-long member of St. Olaf church where she served as president of the W.M.F and E.L.C. for many years and was also sexton of the church cemetery for over 51 years. She also sang many duets with her friend Selma Leum -"The St. Olaf Songbirds". When St. Olaf closed the church she became a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hillsboro on November 8, 1998. Selma moved into Hillsboro in 1999 where she has lived since. Harry passed away on October 13, 1998.

Selma was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and infant son; her parents, Ole and Johanna; her brothers, Harry, Edmund and Leonard; her sisters, Lilly Haugerud, Orrel Schlichtmann, Myrtle Elton, and Hazel Berve; 1 nephew, 1 great niece, 3 great nephews, and 2 great-great nephews. She is survived by her 13 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
