Shane Michael Ambuehl, 34, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona on October 31, 2014. His life was short but his heart was BIG…he touched the lives of many. He was a friend to everyone. His genuine embrace (HUGS) helped many during difficult times. His smile, laugh, loud voice, and dynamic personality lit up a room! Shane loved hunting, fishing, billiards, cards, and hanging out with family and friends. For the past five years Shane explored New York City, Los Angeles, Lincoln (NE), Las Vegas and the entire state of Arizona with his companion. He was faithful to his Midwestern roots and continued to support the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Arizona was a perfect place for Shane to enjoy sports every season. He cheered on the University of Arizona –Wildcats, the University of Nebraska-Cornhuskers, Arizona Coyotes, Diamondbacks, Cardinals and the Phoenix Suns.
Shane is survived by his girlfriend, Myna Wintz, Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Lexi and Kya Ambuehl, Battle Lake; son, Austin Lockwood, Fargo; his mother, Sheri (Brandon) McCabe; his father, Mike (Jamie) Ambuehl; brothers, Corey and Cody Ambuehl; sister, Madison McCabe; great grandmother, Ruby; and many other very dear relatives and friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents; cousin, Jeremy; and many other special relatives.
